Creatures of the vintage

And so here is a group of odd ones that take particular delight in expressing themselves by collecting "bric a brac" and then posing for a quick snap. These odd creatures have been known to get rather rowdy on occasion and in some cases have been found foraging through the back rooms of antique and vintage shops just to find that something special that they do not in any way need but simply must have.

The appropriate Christmas tree attire

As lovely a time as Christmas is it does have a tendency to take a nose dive into tacky town pretty quickly! And so as a result we try to decorate our tree with as little tackiness as possible though generally our visual consultant takes full charge and composes the symphony that is the "dressing of the tree". As our visual consultant is currently gallivanting around the cobbled streets of some European town munching on the local cuisine and tasting the local ales, we have had to fend for ourselves and attempt to decorate the tree as best we could.

Vinyl

Yes......records do sound better than CDs. Seriously The Beatles in vinyl form is honestly amazing. This is my newly compiled sound system! Turntable, amp and speakers all courtesy of the 70s.

Voyager

Today my little sister leaves for an adventure and a new home..... And so for the next few years this space will be a creative place for her from me.....

In 2006 I spent sometime in Paris with my family.This night was one I will remember forever....and wish I could relive.

I took this photo after a fair stint of sifting through the clothing racks of a vintage shop in some unknown backstreet of Paris. On the left is my little sister.....Maria.
